Pablo Koch-Medina is an Associate Professor of Finance and Insurance and Head of Department of Finance at the University of Zurich (UZH).

Prof. Koch-Medina is also a Faculty member of the Swiss Finance Institute and the Director of the Center for Finance and Insurance. He played a crucial role in establishing this University’s Center, which connects the Finance and Insurance fields together, fostering research and education in applying finance theory and mathematical finance in insurance-related topics. 

Before joining the Department, he worked in the finance and insurance industry for more than 20 years.
