The Bachelor's program in Banking and Finance teaches students the academic fundamentals of the world of banking and finance. The program includes interactive courses and external lectures from industry partners, providing students with the opportunity to get in touch with the professional world at an early stage.
The Department of Finance is known for its innovative range of courses, which are delivered through the Teaching Center. Students have access to a rich offering of podcasts, detailed OLAT (Online Learning and Training) courses, interactive eScripts, and the web-based classroom response tool KlickerUZH, which enable guided yet independent study.
Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance are qualified for direct entry into a profession or for subsequent Master's studies. The versatile and broad education enables graduates to take up responsible positions in banks, consulting companies, insurance companies, financial departments of industrial companies, as well as in the public sector.
More than half of the students continue their studies directly in the Master's program, while others choose to complete internships or enter professional life directly.
