Current Students

Around 45 students from across the globe are currently obtaining their PhD in Finance at our Department. We expect that you are willing to learn a lot within a short period of time, and grow into a self-directed researcher. This requires intrinsic motivation and a high level of dedication on your part.

In return, we provide a well-rounded PhD experience with interdisciplinary intellectual inspiration, teaching, research and presentation practice, and a network of academic and industry contacts to leverage the potential of your future career.

On 24 September 2024, we hosted our yearly “PhD Poster Session” where current PhD students presented their current research to their fellow students. It was a great opportunity for all attendees to learn about interesting finance topics from brilliant minds and get inspiration for new ideas.
