Current Students

Around 45 students from across the globe are currently obtaining their PhD in Finance at our Department. We expect that you are willing to learn a lot within a short period of time, and grow into a self-directed researcher. This requires intrinsic motivation and a high level of dedication on your part.

In return, we provide a well-rounded PhD experience with interdisciplinary intellectual inspiration, teaching, research and presentation practice, and a network of academic and industry contacts to leverage the potential of your future career.

At this workshop, organized annually by the SFI Swiss Finance Institute, our PhD Candidates had the opportunity to meet other young researchers from other Swiss universities to discuss and exchange ideas and perspectives.💡
