Teaching Center

The Teaching Center is a center of excellence within the Department of Finance that enables us to build and develop our courses on the basis of extensive didactic experience, proven learning concepts and sophisticated technological tools.

The Teaching Center emerged 2000 from the Swiss Virtual Campus project "eCF: Get involved in Corporate Finance". It was among the first to develop a comprehensive blended learning concept.

While blended learning was gradually expanded to more and more courses at the Department of Finance, it was also complemented with other didactical elements and innovative teaching tools.

Nowadays, all bachelor’s courses at our department - as well as selected courses from continuing education - and over 3'000 students each year benefit from the innovations developed and implemented at the Teaching Center.
