Inquire Europe has announced that the prize for the best paper presented at its Joint Spring Seminar 2023 has been awarded to Dr. Felix von Meyerinck for his paper "Inflation and Individual Investors’ Behavior: Evidence from the German Hyperinflation."
Felix von Meyerinck, a Senior Researcher at the Department of Finance at the University of Zurich, emerged as the recipient of the award for the best paper presented at the Joint Spring Seminar 2023.
His compelling presentation delved into the historical context of the German Hyperinflation, exploring its impact on individual investors' behavior. The research project, conducted in collaboration with co-authors Fabio Braggion from Tilburg University and Nic Schaub from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, examined how hyperinflation influenced investment decisions and financial strategies of individual investors during a time of economic upheaval.
