PhD students receive awards for outstanding teaching achievements
This year, four PhD candidates received the “DF Award for Excellence in Teaching Support” for their outstanding teaching contributions to our department. The PhD awards were presented by Per Östberg, Associate Professor of Finance and Member of the DF Directorate, during an information event organized by our department.
Mohamed Hamoud and Mojtaba Hayati were awarded for their support in the exercise classes of “Advanced Financial Economics”. They received positive feedback from the students, which was reflected in the course evaluations, highlighting the effectiveness of their teaching.
Yuanyuan Gao received a teaching award for her outstanding work in the Master’s seminar “Takeovers, Restructuring and Corporate Governance” and the PhD course “Empirical Corporate Finance”. For the first course, she assisted with correcting assignments and giving feedbacks via email. For the second course, she was honored for designing all the problem sets.
Benjamin Schneider was honored in recognition of his exceptional contributions as a teaching assistant for Advanced Corporate Finance I, where he skillfully led the exercise sessions and ensured that they complemented the lectures. His dedication to overseeing the final exam process demonstrated his high level of responsibility and professionalism.
