PhD students receive awards for outstanding teaching achievements

This year's "DBF Award for Excellence in Teaching" for extraordinary teaching efforts by our PhD students goes to Vincent Wolff for the spring term 23 and Thea Kolasa for the fall term 22.
Emanuela Benincasa, with her research on "The Consequences of Carbon Pricing Policy for Supply Chain Relationships," and Winta Beyene, exploring "Location-based lending heterogeneity post natural disasters," have been awarded UZH Candoc Grants by the University of Zurich.
Our PhD Student Ana Mão de Ferro wins the Best Discussant Doctoral Award, which is awarded to PhD students for an outstanding discussion of a paper presented at the SFI Research Days. She discussed the paper "ESG and bond market resilience: Evidence from the Covid crisis".
We are proud to present the new "DBF award for Excellence in Teaching" for extraordinary teaching efforts by our PhD students in the past academic year. Daniel Grosshans was awarded for the fall term 21, and Alexander Smirnow, Urban Ulrych and Patrick Matei Lucescu for the spring term 22. Congratulations to you all!
