BA Institutional Investing: Case Studies

In this seminar, students engage with the investment process of institutional investors such as pension funds. In practice-oriented case studies, cases from the following areas are analyzed and presented:
(1) Strategic Asset Allocation / Governance
(2) Sustainability/ Engagement
(3) Asset Manager Selection
(4) Investment Controlling
Learning objectives
Seminar participants are able to understand, analyze, and solve practice-oriented questions faced by institutional investors and present their findings to a panel of specialists as part of a presentation.
Participation requirements
Knowledge from the Asset Management: Investments modules is beneficial. Therefore, attending the corresponding lectures is an advantage (although it is not mandatory for participation in the seminar).
