MA Advanced Portfolio Management Game

The Advanced Portfolio Management Game is a computer-based management game in which different teams compete against each other. As heads of a bank's portfolio management department, the teams are responsible for the strategic and tactical investment strategy as well as for the business management of the department.
Learning objectives
Students acquire knowledge of portfolio management and learn about the investment process in asset management as well as the success factors and conflicting goals of managing a department. In addition, the seminar promotes decision-making and communication skills and trains presentation techniques.
Target group
Students at Master's level preferably with a major in Banking & Finance. The number of participants is limited.
Performance review
Active participation in the seminar, group work with presentations. The presentations will take place during the face-to-face seminar. If this is not possible, the presentations will be held online.
