MA Valuation in Practice

Seminar with Industry-Partner

The block seminar on the valuation of companies and assets offers students the opportunity to deepen the knowledge they have acquired during their studies and apply it in practice in specific case studies. Students are guided through the seminar by experts from the management consultancy IFBC, who have extensive practical experience.
Participants work on selected practical cases in advance and present their solutions during the seminar. During the seminar, various issues are solved and discussed on the basis of realistic case studies. Among other things, students take on the role of consultants in the context of a corporate transaction.

The importance and implementation of company valuations and M&A in practice is also explained by a guest speaker from a listed company. In addition, consultants will provide insights into valuation and transaction practice based on their experience.
