Markus Leippold, Zacharias Sautner and Tingyu Yu’s paper on Corporate Climate Lobbying has been given an honorable mention for the 2024 Moskowitz Prize.
The Moskowitz Prize recognizes quantitative papers that are highly relevant to investment practitioners in sustainable and responsible finance.
"Honorable Mentions for the Kellogg School Moskowitz Prize go to "Corporate Climate Lobbying", a study quantifying how much businesses spend on climate lobbying and how anti-climate lobbying is concentrated in carbon-intensive industries, often camouflaged in reports, and associated with higher returns for firms due to priced-in risk."
